JOY PROM MAY 8th, 2009 at the M Casino

I just want to invite you all to the upcoming Joy Prom at the M Spa and Casino on May 8th at 6:00 pm.  Be prepared to receive a night of star quality treatment. Limos will be picking up the entire DSOSN 20 guests from the DSOSN office at 5:15p.m.  Parents are to pick them up at the M Casino at 10 p.m. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a team of smiling faces who will usher you in to pair you with a host or hostess who will accompany you throughout the evening. Once you are paired with a host or hostess, you will go through registration and receive a nametag that is designed just for you. Then, ladies you will make your way through the salon to have your hair and make up done, and gentlemen, you will make your way through the shoe shining station. After you are looking fabulous, you will make your way down the hall to receive a corsage or boutonnière. Then, you will have your prom portrait taken, which you will receive by the end of the night. Now that you are all decked out, it is your moment to shine. From the photography room, you will make your way down the hall to the fabulous red carpet where everyone is waiting to see you. Upon your arrival, cameras flashing and your fans asking for your autograph will greet you. You will be formally introduced, and then you will take your very own walk of fame down the red carpet. After your walk, you will be ushered into a star quality dining room to be served an amazing dinner. After dinner be prepared to dance the night away with a live band and DJ. Get ready for Joy Prom 09: A Night to Shine.

 

This is a prom, so formal wear is encouraged. At the DSOSN office we have donated new dresses and jewelry for the girls to have. Also men we have discounts for you for your tuxedos!  If you don’t have a formal dress or tuxedo, just wear your nicest attire. Come and look your best! It is your night to shine!

For the parents, guardians and caretakers, we encourage you to come and join us for this amazing event! We will have a special hospitality room designed just for you. This will be a room where you can come and relax and enjoy the evening. We will have refreshments available for you. We will have a live video feed of the dance available for you to watch and enjoy our guests dance the night away. We want this room to be a place for you to connect with other parents, caretakers and organizations. Please stay and enjoy this evening with us! The  teen or young adult is to be picked up by the parent or caregiver at the M Casino at 10 p.m.

The first 20 teen and young adults to RSVP will get their official invitations. Please make sure to RSVP ASAP! If I can do anything to help you or your family, please do not hesitate to call.  Our office hours are 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
