DSOSN ANNUAL GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

This is an official invitation to all our members, their families, friends, and supporters, to attend the DSOSN Annual General Membership Meeting:

DAY/DATE: Sunday, April 26th

TIME: 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.

PLACE: Betty’s Village, 7755 W Oquendo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89113

In addition to all the members getting together to share points of views on the growth, development, and mission of the organization, one of the major activities at the Annual General Membership Meeting will be the election of members to sit on the Board of Directors.

Come out and support (vote for) the formal election of our temporary appointed Board Members:

Veronica Fiscus, Teresa Klem, Linda Ortiz, Michael DeShalit, Felipe Vital

If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, and you intend to submit your name as a candidate, it is advisable that you read the DSOSN Bylaws, especially the provisions dealing with the election of Board Members.

A highlight of the event will be the creation (and presentation) of an annual award,

“The Jimmy Meinke Exceptional Community Partnership Award”

Come out to meet and celebrate the first recipient of what is sure to be a “Prestigious Award” at future Annual General Membership Meetings.

Other Activities will include:

• Performance by our Awesome Shock Dance Troupe
• Lunch/Refreshments will be provided
• Free giveaways
• Recognition of six Volunteers (and the Volunteer of the Year)
• Review of the year past-Goals for the coming year
• State of the Organization Presentation
• Financial status of the organization, etc.
