Resource Fair Application

The undersigned applicant hereby requests permission to participate as a vendor in the DSOSN-Las Vegas Buddy Walk-2026 event, which is scheduled for October 18, 2026, at Town Square. The hours of the event will be from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. The Applicant is responsible for booth set up, decorations, etc. (vendors will be provided with a 6ft table and two chairs (and a canopy if requested).

FEE for Vendors:

  1. Nonprofit organizations: Donation of a raffle prize item (minimum value of $50.00)
  2. All other vendors: Make a minimum donation of $200 to DSOSN (please make checks payable to DSOSN-Buddy Walk).

GENERAL RULES AND REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants may only display items listed in the application/approved by the Board Chair, DSOSN. If an applicant wishes to display additional items, approval is required (for more information on this rule, please contact Belinda, Resource Fair Coordinator, at the phone number or email address below).

Vendors are invited to promote their products and services relating to the needs of the disability community, but vendors will not display any items for sale at the event.

Applicant must have all appropriate licenses and permits required by the city, County and State.

Setup time starts at 6: 30 am. Applicants must be ready to display no later than 8:00 am. Breakdown should start no earlier than 12:30 pm.

Applicants are required to remove all trash and other articles from the area around their booths at breakdown.

Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada has the right to refuse participation in the event if the applicant’s product or service does not fall within the theme of approved products, which must have a direct or indirect relationship to the general needs and services of the disability community.

Applicants are requested to notify DSOSN (Belinda) by October 1st, if they will not be able to attend the event.

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT:

In consideration of the Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada (DSOSN):

Acceptance of the application to participate in the DSOSN-Las Vegas Buddy Walk-2026 event, October 18, 2026, the applicant (its officers, directors, agents, employees, representatives and/or members) agree to indemnify, hold harmless, protect and defend DSOSN, Town Square, as well as each entity, entities agents, employees, and/or representatives, from and against any loss, claim of loss, injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury), damage (including, but not limited to, property damage), liability or other expense (including, but not limited to, reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs), claimed by or resulting from a third party or the applicant (or any officer, director, agent, employee, representative of the applicant), that arises out of, or is in any manner related to, any act or failure to act by the applicant (its officers, directors, agents, employees, representatives, and/or members) in connection with the applicant’s participation in the DSOSN-Las Vegas Buddy Walk event on October 18, 2026.

The undersigned has read this agreement carefully and represents that he or she has the authority to execute this agreement on behalf of the party for whom he or she is signing.
